Making Summer Count For CHA And HCV Youth Through SYEP
Making Summer Count For CHA And HCV Youth Through SYEP
Each summer, we work with hundreds of CHA and HCV youth ages 16-24 to provide them with six weeks of paid work experience. Youth have a chance to learn new skills through our workshops. We offer training in time management, personal budgeting, and career planning.
In order to provide the best experience possible, we match youth with jobs based on their interests and career goals. Youth learn the power of collaboration, gain an understanding of employer expectations, and get experience they can take with them into the next phase of life.
We begin accepting applications for the Summer Youth Employment Program each Spring.
